iPAS Social Distancing Solution (UWB Technology)
iPAS Social Distancing UWB Tag is a compact wearable, a further development of the KIGIS Pedestrian detection system around vehicles, to help you and your employees maintain the necessary social distance while maintaining your privacy.
iPAS SD works on the basis of the Ultra Wide Band technology (UWB), which stands for signal precision, high reliability and accuracy.
1. People Distancing - iPAS Social Distancing PT Tag (SD-PT)
The iPAS SD transponder, which the employee must always carry with him, measures the distance to the other TAGs and alerts both by an alarm (beeper and / or vibration) in case of non-compliance with the safety distance. The distance is configurable up to 5 meters.
2. Area Distancing - iPAS Social Distancing Zone Tag (SD-ZT)
Social Distancing Zone Tag (SD ZT) is installed in work areas where it is necessary to keep the number of people below a certain threshold.
As soon as the limit of the number of permitted persons present in the room (adjustable to max. 8 persons) is exceeded, an alarm is triggered (visual flashlight and / or beeper).
3. Area Control- iPAS Social Distancing Crowd Management (SD-EOD)
When the SD Zone Tag is connected to the EOD output module, it can also control access to buildings or spaces.
Crowd control also helps to avoid meetings while entering and leaving the workplace.
Crowd control is a must have feature. The SD Zone Tag is connected to the External Output Device (EOD) and allows access control by detecting the SD PT.
Access is denied when 2 or more persons approach the threshold and only persons with an SD PT tag are allowed. This feature helps to avoid meetings while entering and leaving the workplace.
Ipas SD PT therefore works on 3 fronts:
- Keeping the distance from each other
- Avoid gatherings of too many people in the same room
- Access control or “crowd management”
iPAS Social Distancing works out of the box, is energy efficient and very compact! It is not necessary to register, no user data is saved, it is enough to just give the iPAS SD PT to your employees or visitors and you are off!
